This year I set myself a massive challenge, to trek up the highest mountain in Africa, Kilimanjaro at 19,500ft. Improving my fitness was a given. However, to help cope with the altitude I had some sessions with Will. He initially coached me in some breathing improvement techniques and moved eventually to exercising with a controlled amount of oxygen intake.

“Now I am able to run 10k with breathing only through my nose.”

During my final 3,500ft ascent to the summit, I was able to control my oxygen flow using the taught techniques and use this as a focus point in those last difficult  6 hours to the summit. I have no doubt this was a contribution to my success. Not bad at 65!

I joined Will's sessions to reduce my blood pressure and help my breathing whilst competing in horse riding.

The sessions were brilliant and the benefits far exceeded anything I had hoped for.

The techniques are really easy to apply to any situation and have certainly helped whilst riding horses.

The other benefits for me have been reducing and maintaining my blood pressure to a normal level,   increased sense of smell, clear sinuses, no headaches or migraines and sleeping soundly all night.
